How to work out volume

What do we mean by 'volume'? An amount of space a three dimensional (3D) shape is taking up

How do we measure it? volume = area (base) x height

[Is there a conversion to litres?] yes, it is: 1 litre of water is equal to 1,000 cubic metres of water

Volume of  a rectangle = Length x width x height

Volume of a cylinder = 𝝅 r squared h

Volume of a prism 0.5 x b x a x h
