Our kete

This is our kete protect and we all did it in groups of three or four and make three things we wanted to do about our kete protects.

New Years

5 days before we did New Years camping we were heading to sams and brookes place.

my Brother and Sister and I didn't know were we were going but we were told by sam

that we were going to Lake Tekapo for New Years. So we helped Brooke and Sam to pack

their bags so we could leave earlier.

When we were finished packing we loaded the car and went off on the start of our adventure.

We drove for about 2 hours then stopped in at Burger King, I got a cheese burger, chips,

nuggets, chicken fries, normal fries and a drink of fanta and ice. When we got there I

Shouted “FINALLY WE ARE HERE!” but I was wrong we ended up spending about

20 minutes finding a place to set up camp. We finally found a place then we played

near the water and I built a little house out of rocks, clay and water, I made a pool for the fish.

When we go there next time I hope it won't take too long to find the same place. I finally find a

place to build another house but I couldn’t do it then because we needed to go to the store to

buy stuff. It has been 4 days since we arrived and we were up at midnight, while we were

up we saw  shooting stars.

Reflection:

I think that I created an interesting piece of writing because… it was about hanging ou

t with my family.

For next time I could spend more time on… thinking on how I would make it more

interesting.

In my writing, I would like to improve… on my words and what to say in my story.
